QR codes make it effortless for your patients to leave a review. Instead of typing a link or searching for your practice, they simply scan a code and land directly on your review page. Place one at the front desk, on a receipt, or on an aftercare card, and you turn every happy visit into an opportunity for fresh feedback. This guide walks you through creating, customizing, displaying, and tracking a QR code in Aesthetix CRM.
Note: A review QR code links straight to your review page — perfect for the front desk, printed receipts, or post-treatment aftercare cards. For adding a QR code to a funnel or landing page instead, see the QR Code Element guide in Marketing Tools.
You can generate a review QR code from either the Reputation area or the Sites area — both create a code that points patients to your review page.
From Reputation:
Navigate to Reputation > Settings and open the Reviews QR section.
Choose the specific review page you want the QR code to direct patients to.
Click Create QR Code. A unique QR code is generated that patients can scan to leave a review.
From Sites:
Go to Sites > QR Codes > Create QR Code.
Add a name for the code, select Review Link as the QR Type, and click Next.
Select the review page, then edit the header content and change the footer image as needed.
Note: You can create multiple QR codes for different destinations — for example, a Google review page, a Facebook review page, or a custom feedback form.
Once the code is generated, tailor its appearance so it matches your practice's branding:
Add a logo or image: Personalize the QR code by adding your practice logo or a relevant image to the center.
Adjust the style: Edit the color, shape and form, center logo, and background image of the code.
Change the text: Modify the text that appears alongside the QR code to include any message you want patients to see.
Note: After customizing, test the code with different devices to make sure it still scans reliably before you print or share it.
With your code ready, make it easy for patients to find and scan:
Download the code: Save the QR code as a PDF or PNG image.
Print and display: Add it to printed materials such as flyers, receipts, aftercare cards, or business cards.
Share digitally: Include it in email signatures, social media posts, or on your website.
Note: Position the QR code in high-visibility areas — the checkout counter, treatment room, or waiting area — where patients are most likely to see and scan it.
After deploying your code, keep an eye on how it performs so you can refine your approach:
Track scans: Open the Analytics (or Tracking) section to view real-time data on total and unique scans.
Analyze results: Review the numbers to understand patient engagement and gauge how well the code is driving reviews.
Optimize: Based on the scan data, adjust your strategy — try a new placement, refine the call to action, or update the destination page.
Note: Regularly reviewing scan activity helps you spot trends and find new opportunities to strengthen your online reputation.
By putting a review QR code in front of your patients at the right moments, you streamline the review process, gather valuable feedback, and steadily build your practice's reputation.
