TikTok advertising helps your practice reach a younger, highly engaged audience with short-form video, which works well for showcasing treatments, before-and-after content, and promotions. Aesthetix CRM connects to your TikTok Business account so that leads captured through TikTok Lead Ads flow straight into your contacts, and so you can build TikTok ad campaigns from Ad Manager alongside your Meta, Google, and LinkedIn ads.
This guide covers two things: connecting TikTok so you can capture leads from TikTok Instant Forms, and where TikTok ad campaigns are built.
TikTok ad campaigns use the standard Ad Manager campaign flow. When you create a campaign, select TikTok as the network, then follow the same steps you use for other platforms: choose your objective, define your audience and budget, add your creative, and publish. This article focuses on the part that is specific to TikTok: connecting your TikTok Business account and mapping lead-form submissions into Aesthetix CRM.
TikTok Lead Ads is available as an integration. You enable it once, then log in to your TikTok Business account to connect it.
Go to Settings. If TikTok Lead Ads is not yet available, enable it from the Labs section of your settings first.
Open the Integrations tab and start the TikTok connection.
Log in to your TikTok Business account.
Review the permissions (all are enabled by default) and click Confirm.
During this step, TikTok's consent screen may show the name LeadConnector. This is expected and safe. LeadConnector is the underlying provider that powers the connection between Aesthetix CRM and TikTok, so TikTok shows that name on the permission screen. It is also the only party that needs permission, which is handled automatically when the integration connects, so individual user permissions and access are not a factor.
If you have multiple advertiser accounts, select the advertiser account you want to connect. If you have only one, it is selected by default.
Once the account is selected, the tab closes automatically and your TikTok Business account is integrated. You can switch accounts at any time using the change advertiser account button.
Once your TikTok Business account is connected, navigate to the TikTok form mapping tab to see all the pages and forms you have created in TikTok Business.
Click Map Fields next to a form.
Match each TikTok form field to the matching contact field in Aesthetix CRM. If you need a field that does not exist yet, create a custom field first (see supported field types below).
Click Update to save your mapping and subscribe to the page.
Note: Multi-select options for TikTok Lead Ads are not currently supported.
When mapping TikTok Lead Ads, these custom field types are supported:

To act on new TikTok leads automatically, build a workflow:
Add the TikTok Form Submitted trigger.
Add a filter and select your form.
Add the actions you want, such as starting a nurture, notifying your team, or adding the contact to a pipeline.
For full details on building automations, see the Workflows collection. Once connected, submit a test entry on your TikTok form to confirm leads are being added to your contacts.
TikTok Lead Ads collect contact details that people enter themselves, which is fine. Keep your form and privacy language aligned with your practice's HIPAA policies, collect only the information you need, and use consent language for any marketing follow-up. If you ever build an audience by uploading a patient contact list, do so only with patient consent and never include treatment details or other protected health information beyond basic contact identifiers.
"No pages for this account" error while connecting. This usually means you have not created an Instant Form in your TikTok Business account yet. Create an instant form in TikTok, then reconnect.
TikTok access token expired. Disconnect your account from the Integrations page and reconnect. Reconnecting generates a new access token. TikTok grants a permanent access token, so the connection should stay intact unless it is manually broken. If the connection breaks, an "Integration expired" message appears under the TikTok option in Settings > Integrations. If reconnecting does not resolve it, contact support.
You changed a question on a live lead form. If you update your TikTok form to capture a new response, create a matching custom field in your settings first. Then return to the TikTok form fields mapping tab, click edit, and select the new custom field. To stop inbound leads while you make changes, toggle the form's status off.
How do I connect TikTok to Aesthetix CRM? Enable TikTok Lead Ads from the Labs section of your settings if needed, then open Settings > Integrations, log in to your TikTok Business account, confirm the permissions, and select the advertiser account you want to connect.

Can the same TikTok advertiser account connect to more than one account? Yes, as long as the TikTok form fields are mapped in each account.
