This guide answers common questions about connecting domains and using CNAME records with Aesthetix CRM. If you are pointing a landing page, funnel, or website to your own web address, these answers explain what a CNAME does and how to work with more than one domain.
A CNAME (Canonical Name) record connects a subdomain of your web address to Aesthetix CRM. When you want to publish a landing page or a sales funnel on your own domain, you typically set up a dedicated subdomain (for example, book.yourpractice.com) and point it to Aesthetix CRM using a CNAME record.
This lets your pages load under your practice's own branded web address while the content is hosted and served by Aesthetix CRM.
For step-by-step domain connection instructions, see the Websites, Domains & Social collection.

Yes, you can connect multiple domains to your account. Adding a second or third domain follows the same process you used to set up your first one, so the steps will feel familiar each time you add another.
You can also send email from more than one domain, but there are two important limitations to plan around:
No dedicated headers on the additional sending domains. Dedicated headers help you build and improve sender reputation more easily, and they are not available when you send across multiple domains. This can make it harder to strengthen your sending reputation.
Every user needs a root-domain version of their email address. For sending from the Inbox to actually work, each user must have an email address on the root domain. Without it, messages sent from the Inbox will not be sendable.
What is a CNAME record used for? A CNAME record points a subdomain of your web address to Aesthetix CRM so you can publish landing pages and funnels under your own branded domain.
Do I need a subdomain to build a landing page or funnel? Setting up a dedicated subdomain is recommended for landing pages and funnels, and that subdomain is connected using a CNAME record.
Can I connect more than one domain? Yes. You can add multiple domains, and each one is set up the same way as your first domain.
Can I send email from multiple domains? Yes, but with two limitations. You cannot use dedicated headers on the additional sending domains, which makes it harder to improve your sender reputation. And every user must have a root-domain version of their email address, otherwise messages sent from the Inbox will not be sendable.
