When a chat widget is no longer needed, you can delete it directly from Aesthetix CRM. Deleting a widget removes it from your account and stops it from displaying on any page where it was embedded, so visitors will no longer see it on your website.
Before you delete, confirm you no longer need the widget. Deletion is permanent, and any conversations already captured through the widget remain in your inbox even after the widget is removed.
Follow these steps to remove a chat widget from your account.
From the left navigation menu, click Web Tools.

Click Chat Widget to open the list of widgets in your account.

Find the chat widget you want to delete, then click the three dots next to it.

From the menu, click Delete.

To confirm, click Delete again.

Note: Deleting a widget is permanent and cannot be undone. If the widget was embedded on your website, it will stop appearing once it is deleted.
Does deleting a chat widget remove it from my website? Yes. Once the widget is deleted, it stops displaying on every page where it was embedded, and visitors will no longer see it on your site.
Do I need to remove the embed code from my website too? The widget stops displaying as soon as it is deleted, so it will not appear even if the code remains. For a clean setup, you can remove the leftover embed snippet from your site the next time you edit those pages.
Can I undo a deletion? No. Deleting a chat widget is permanent. If you may need the widget again, consider keeping it in place rather than deleting it.
What happens to conversations captured by the widget? Conversations that were already collected through the widget remain in your inbox. Deleting the widget only removes the widget itself, not the messages it captured.
Where do I find the widget I want to delete? All of your chat widgets are listed under Web Tools, then Chat Widget. Use the three-dot menu next to any widget to access its options, including Delete.
Can I temporarily hide a widget instead of deleting it? If you only want to stop the widget from showing for now, removing its embed code from your site or unpublishing those pages is a better option than permanent deletion.
