Keeping your Inbox tidy makes it easy to stay on top of every patient and lead conversation in Aesthetix CRM. This article walks you through the manual controls that help you prioritize and organize your messages: marking conversations as read or unread, starring the ones that matter, and archiving or unarchiving threads to keep your workspace clutter-free. Whether you're tracking new inquiries or revisiting an important discussion, these tools help you maintain clarity and efficiency in your day-to-day workflow.
Manually toggling the read status of a conversation lets you flag messages that still need attention or clear ones you've already handled. This is helpful when you want to revisit an important thread later or keep new inquiries front and center.
Step 1: Open the Inbox. Navigate to the Inbox area in Aesthetix CRM.
Step 2: Select a conversation. Choose the message or contact you want to work with from your conversation list.
Step 3: Mark the conversation as read. With the conversation selected, mark it as Read to clear it from your unread items.
Step 4: Switch to the All view. Change your filter to All to view every conversation, including those you've already read.
Step 5: Mark a conversation as unread. Click to change the message status back to Unread whenever you want to flag it for follow-up.
Archiving moves a conversation out of your active Inbox without deleting it, so you can maintain a clean workspace while still keeping the full history available. You can unarchive any conversation at any time to bring it back into view.
Step 1: Access your Inbox. Open the Inbox to see your active conversations.
Step 2: Choose the conversation. Select the message you want to focus on.
Step 3: Archive the conversation. Archive your chosen conversation to move it out of the active view and keep your Inbox tidy.
Step 4: Unarchive when needed. Unarchive the conversation whenever you need to bring it back into your active Inbox.
Starring is a quick way to bookmark the conversations you need to return to. Starred threads are easy to find later, so use them to keep your most important patient and lead discussions within reach.
Step 1: Open the conversation. From the Inbox, select the conversation you want to highlight.
Step 2: Star the conversation. Click the star icon on the conversation to mark it. To remove the star, click the icon again.
The Inbox view filters help you focus on exactly the conversations you need. Switch between views such as Unread, Starred, Archived, and All to sort your conversations by status.
Where available, you can also apply actions to more than one conversation at once. Select multiple conversations from your list, then apply an action, such as marking them read or unread or archiving them, to the entire selection at the same time. Bulk actions are a fast way to clear out a busy Inbox without opening each thread individually.
What is the difference between archiving and deleting a conversation? Archiving moves a conversation out of your active Inbox while preserving the full message history, so you can retrieve it later. It does not remove the conversation or its data.
Can I unarchive a conversation after archiving it? Yes. Archived conversations remain accessible, and you can unarchive any of them at any time to return them to your active Inbox.
How do I find conversations I've already read? Switch your filter to the All view to see every conversation, including those already marked as read.
Why would I mark a conversation as unread? Marking a conversation as unread flags it so it stands out in your Inbox, which is useful when you want to remember to follow up on it later.
Can I act on more than one conversation at a time? Where bulk actions are supported, you can select multiple conversations and apply an action, such as marking them read or unread or archiving them, to all of them at once.
