OverviewBefore the Aesthetix CRM team can complete the ModMed integration, the practice must request API access directly from ModMed’s Practice Solutions team.
The ModMed team manages the enablement process and provides instructions for generating API credentials (username and password). Once these credentials are created, the client must securely share them with the Aesthetix CRM implementation team to proceed with setup.
How to Request API AccessStep 1:
Send an email to practicesolutions@modmed.com using the template below.
Step 2:
Wait for ModMed to confirm that API access has been enabled. They will also send instructions on how to generate the API credentials.
Step 3:
Once generated, securely share the username and password with your Aesthetix CRM Implementation Manager to continue the integration process.

Subject: Request to Enable API for Aesthetix CRM Integration
Hello [ModMed Account Representative],
[Practice Name] recently partnered with Aesthetix CRM and would like to move forward with the ModMed integration.
Will you please enable the API for the Aesthetix CRM integration? Once enabled, please provide instructions for generating the API credentials (username and password) so we can share them with the Aesthetix CRM implementation team.
Thank you for your help!

Once the ModMed credentials have been received:
Appointment Categorization:
Aesthetix CRM will produce a spreadsheet mapping the client’s appointment types from ModMed to the corresponding pipelines in Aesthetix CRM. Help Article: Appointment Category - How it Works and Why It Matters to your EMR Integration
Client Approval Required:
The mapping spreadsheet must be reviewed and approved by the client prior to go-live. This step ensures all appointment types are correctly assigned and integrated.
Integration Completion:
Once the mapping is approved, Aesthetix CRM finalizes the configuration and confirms when the ModMed integration is live.
