Please review the video below to fix your API errors on Zapier by activating the autoretry settings.
This guide explains how to resolve Zapier error notifications by enabling the auto-retry feature and manually replaying failed Zaps. Follow these steps to address common API timeout issues effectively.
Step 1: Access Zap History
Log in to Zapier and navigate to Zap History.
Review the list of Zaps to identify those that have errored out:
Use the date range filter to narrow down the errors.
Look for Zaps marked as stopped or errored.
Step 2: Enable Auto Retry
Turn On Auto Retry:
Locate the auto-retry feature in Zapier’s settings.
Enable this option to allow Zapier to automatically retry when the API times out.
Why Enable Auto Retry?
API timeouts are a common issue, but enabling auto retry ensures Zapier will attempt to reconnect, often resolving the issue immediately without further intervention.
Step 3: Manually Replay Failed Zaps
Select the failed Zaps from the list in Zap History.
Click Replay to reattempt processing for all selected Zaps.
Verify that the Zaps successfully complete after the replay.
