How to Create Patient in Nextech Practice Plus From Aesthetix CRM 2-Way Sync

If you need to create a new patient in Nextech Practice Plus from Aesthetix CRM, follow these steps carefully.


Step 1: Open the Contact Record

  1. Log in to Aesthetix CRM.

  2. Navigate to the Contacts section.

  3. Click on the contact record of the patient you want to add to Nextech Practice Plus.


Step 2: Ensure All Required Fields Are Filled

For Nextech Practice Plus, all of the following fields must be completed before the patient can be created:

First Name
Last Name
Email
Phone Number
Date of Birth
Referral Source (Must match exactly with Nextech Practice Plus values)
General Practitioner (Must match exactly with Nextech Practice Plus values)
Street Address
City
State
Postal Code (ZIP Code)

Important: Nextech Cloud has fewer required fields, but Practice Plus requires all of the above.


Step 3: Trigger the Patient Creation in Nextech

  1. Scroll down to the Tags section.

  2. Click "Add Tags."

  3. Type in:
    NXT-Create

  4. Select the tag and apply it.


Step 4: Patient Sync Process

  • Once the NXT-Create tag is added, the system will trigger a workflow to create the patient in Nextech Practice Plus.

  • Processing Time: Usually 15-20 seconds.

  • If the patient already exists in Nextech Practice Plus, the system will not create a duplicate.


Final Notes

Only use this process for new patients who do not already exist in Nextech Practice Plus.
Double-check that Referral Source and General Practitioner match Nextech's exact values.

Once completed, your patient will be created inside Nextech Practice Plus!
