Here is a step by step guide for setting up the integration properly to get your API token.
This guide explains how to create a Private API Integration Token in Aesthetix CRM and connect it to Zapier. This connection allows you to automate actions between Aesthetix CRM and other applications using Zapier workflows.
To connect Aesthetix CRM with Zapier, you must:
Create a Private Integration Token in Aesthetix CRM
Select the required API permission scopes
Connect the token to Zapier
Test the integration
Once connected, you can use Zapier to automate actions such as creating contacts, updating opportunities, and triggering workflows.
Log in to your Aesthetix CRM account
Navigate to Settings
Select Private Integrations
Click Create New Integration
Configure the integration:
Integration Name: Zapier
Click Next
You must enable specific permission scopes for Zapier to access the necessary data.
Select the following scopes exactly:
View Users
View Contacts
Edit Contacts
View Locations
View Custom Values
View Custom Fields
Edit Custom Fields
View Workflows
View Campaigns
View Opportunities
Edit Opportunities
These permissions allow Zapier to read and update the data required for automations.
Once all scopes are selected:
Click Create Integration
Copy the API Token that is generated
Important: Save this token securely. You will need it to connect Zapier.
Log in to Zapier
Navigate to App Connections
Click Add Connection
Search for Aesthetix CRM
If Aesthetix CRM does not appear, install the Zapier integration using the link provided in the help article.
When selecting the integration:
Choose the Aesthetix CRM v3.0 integration
This version supports the Private API Integration Token created earlier.
Click Continue to Aesthetix CRM
Paste your API Integration Token
Authorize the connection
After authorization, the connection will appear in your Zapier App Connections list.
You may rename the connection if needed to help identify it later.
Example:
Aesthetix CRM - Main AccountTo confirm the integration works:
Create a new Zap
Select Aesthetix CRM v3.0 as the app
Choose an action such as Create Contact
Select the connected account
Run the Test Step
If the connection is successful, Zapier will retrieve fields such as custom contact fields from Aesthetix CRM.
You should see a success confirmation once the test completes.
After running the Zap test:
Return to Aesthetix CRM
Check the Contacts section
Confirm the test contact was created or updated successfully
This confirms the Zapier connection is working correctly.
Install the Zapier integration using the installation link provided in the help article.
Verify:
The correct scopes were selected
The full token was copied correctly
You are using the v3.0 Zapier integration
This typically occurs if the required API scopes were not enabled during integration setup.
Setting up Zapier with Aesthetix CRM requires:
Creating a Private API Integration Token
Selecting the required API permission scopes
Connecting the token to Zapier
Testing the integration
Once configured, Zapier can automate actions between Aesthetix CRM and thousands of other applications.
