Affiliate Manager lets your practice run a referral or partner program and pay out commissions to affiliates automatically through PayPal. This article answers the most common questions about setting up and using Auto Payout, found under Affiliate Manager > Affiliate Payouts.
What do I need to set up before I can use Auto Payout? Two things are required. First, connect a PayPal Business Account to your Aesthetix CRM account. Second, each affiliate you want to pay through Auto Payout needs their own PayPal account added under their Payout Methods.
Where do I connect PayPal and add an affiliate's payout method? Your PayPal Business Account is connected once at the account level so Auto Payout is available across your affiliate program. Each individual affiliate then adds their own PayPal email address under their profile's Payout Methods tab. Both steps have to be completed before that affiliate can be paid automatically.
How do I hide the PayPal button from my order forms but still use PayPal to pay affiliates? Connecting PayPal for affiliate payouts doesn't require showing PayPal as a checkout option on your funnel or website order forms. To hide it:
Open the funnel or website where you want to hide the PayPal button.
Go to the Settings tab.
Paste the following code into the Head Tracking Code section:
<style>.paypal-content {
display: none;
}
.order-form-v2 > div > .divider {
display: none;
}
</style>Click Save.
This hides the PayPal option on your order forms while keeping the PayPal integration active for affiliate payouts behind the scenes.
Who has permission to send affiliate payouts through PayPal? Only team members with the Admin role can process affiliate payouts using PayPal Auto Payout. If you don't see the option to pay an affiliate, check with your account owner about your permission level.
Are payouts for recurring products sent automatically? The commission itself is calculated and generated automatically for recurring products, but Aesthetix CRM does not push the actual money out on its own. You still need to open the payout and click Pay Now to complete the transfer through PayPal. This extra click is intentional and exists for security and authentication reasons on PayPal's side.
Why can't I process a payout for one of my affiliates? Auto Payout only works for affiliates who have a PayPal account linked under their Payout Methods. If an affiliate hasn't added one yet, you'll see an error icon next to their payout along with an Add Account option. Reach out to that affiliate and ask them to add their PayPal email before you try to pay them again.
Can I still pay an affiliate if they don't want to use PayPal? Auto Payout is built specifically around PayPal, so an affiliate needs a linked PayPal account to receive payments through this feature. If an affiliate can't or won't use PayPal, you'll need to track and send their commission manually outside of Auto Payout until they add a PayPal payout method.
