A watermark is a visible, often translucent logo or text placed on top of an image. In the Social Planner, you can upload watermarks and assign one to each connected social account, so your branding is applied automatically at publish time. Instead of a single global watermark, per-account assignments let you manage multiple brands or locations without re-uploading the same file every time.
For a med spa, watermarking every image with your logo or handle protects your before-and-after and treatment photos, reinforces brand recognition, and keeps your feed looking polished and professional.
Ownership and copyright protection: A watermark with your name or logo makes it harder for others to claim your content as their own.
Brand recognition: A consistent logo or brand name builds recognition across every post.
Deterrence against unauthorized use: Clearly marked images are less likely to be reused or shared without credit.
Professionalism: Watermarks give photos and creative content a polished, finished look.
Promotion and marketing: A watermark can include your website, social handle, or a campaign hashtag to direct viewers to your practice or a specific offer.
Personalization: Placement and design add a branded, creative touch to your content.
Go to Marketing, then Social Media Planner, then open Settings and click the Watermark tab.

If you have not added a watermark yet, you will see a Try It Now nudge prompting you to create one. If you already had a single watermark, it appears in the list as "All Socials," and you can edit it and assign specific watermarks per account later.

Click Add Watermark, give it a name for easy identification, then upload your image. Use a PNG or JPG file (minimum 200x200px, maximum 5MB).

Set the alignment (top, bottom, left, right, or center), then fine-tune the appearance:
Adjust the opacity.
Use the Scale control to resize the watermark.
Use Auto Padding to add more space around the logo.

Select All social accounts or particular accounts you want this watermark applied to, then click Create.

Once uploaded, you can view all watermarks in a list, edit one (rename or replace it), or delete a watermark.
New posts created after setup use the latest assigned watermark.
When you edit or clone an older post, you see the original, non-watermarked image, and the new watermark applies only after you save.
New Category Queue posts use the newly assigned watermark.
For automated posts (Category Queue and Recurring Posts), the new watermark starts applying from the next scheduled post onward.
RSS and Review posts do not support watermarks.
Video watermarking is not supported due to an API restriction. Watermarks apply to supported image posts only.
Can I apply more than one watermark to the same social account? No. Each social account can have one assigned watermark at a time.

Do watermarks apply to videos? No. Watermarks apply to supported image posts only. Video watermarking is not supported.

What file type and size should I use? Use a PNG or JPG, minimum 200x200px and maximum 5MB.
How does bulk CSV scheduling decide which watermark to use? It uses the current per-account assignment for each social at the time the post publishes.
