Search and Smart Filter Views are tools inside the Social Planner that make it easier to find specific posts and organize your content. Instead of scrolling through pages of posts, you can search post content by keyword and build reusable filtered views based on attributes like status, channel, and category. For a busy practice running promotions, before and after posts, and event announcements across several platforms, this means less time hunting and more time acting on the content that matters.
Quickly locate posts using keywords from the post content.
Combine multiple filters to match specific post criteria.
Save filter combinations as views for quick access.
Customize saved views as your content strategy evolves.
Focus on post types like Draft, Published, or Scheduled content.
Filter across platforms, categories, and more, with up to 4 saved views supported.
Navigate to Marketing from the main navigation.
Click Social Planner.
Switch to the List View tab, next to Calendar.
Use the Search bar at the top of the post list. Type any keyword or phrase found within your post content, and matching results display instantly.
Click the Filters button to apply filter criteria. Options include status, channel, category, and more.
Once you have selected your filter combination, click Save as New View. Name the view something clear, such as "Draft Instagram Posts." Your saved view is then available from the filter view dropdown.
To use a saved view, click the dropdown next to Filters and select the view you want. The list updates automatically with that filter set applied.
You can also edit, rename, or delete saved views as your needs change.
Note: a maximum of 4 saved filter views is supported per account.
Search lets you find posts using specific keywords in the content body. It is especially useful when you are managing a large volume of posts. Instead of scrolling through pages, enter a keyword and matching posts are pulled up in real time. Search scans post content such as captions, descriptions, and text fields.
Saved Filter Views help you organize content for repeat workflows, like reviewing drafts or tracking scheduled posts on a specific platform. By combining several filter attributes, for example category, status, and platform, you create focused views that remove the need to re-apply the same filters every time.
With saved views you can:
Create up to 4 views.
Update filter combinations or rename saved views at any time.
Switch quickly between views using the dropdown for efficient content management.
A practical way to start is to build a saved view for your most-used filters, such as "Published Instagram Stories" or "Scheduled Facebook Promos," so it is one click away the next time you open the planner.
How many filter views can I save in the Social Planner? You can save up to 4 custom filter views per account.
Can I edit or rename my saved views? Yes. Saved views are editable. Select the view, then use the Edit or Rename options to make changes.
What post content is searchable? Search scans post content such as captions, descriptions, and text fields.
Can I delete a saved filter view? Yes. Select the saved view and click the Delete icon to remove it.
Are saved views shared with my team? No. Saved views are currently user-specific and are not shared across accounts. Each user builds and manages their own views.
Where is the Search bar located? It sits at the top of the post list in List View, which you reach by switching from the Calendar tab.
What kinds of filters can I combine? You can filter by status (such as Draft, Published, or Scheduled), channel, category, and more, and combine several at once to narrow your results.
Why can I not find a post even after searching? Search matches keywords in the post content itself. If a post has no text matching your keyword, try filtering by channel, status, or category instead, or check that you are in List View rather than Calendar.
