Search engines rely on the hidden details behind each page to understand what your practice offers and how to display it. In Aesthetix CRM, you can control that information directly from the page builder—adding custom meta tags to shape how your pages appear in search results and social shares, and adding schema markup so search engines and AI systems can interpret your business, services, and FAQs. This guide covers both, page by page, with no coding required.
Note: For blog-specific SEO controls like canonical URLs, see Blog SEO: Canonical URLs & Meta.
Custom meta tags are small, hidden HTML snippets that tell search engines, browsers, and social media platforms how to describe your pages. They give you control over your site's visibility and ranking without touching code.
Improve how your pages appear in search engine results.
Control the title, description, and image shown when your page is shared on social media.
Prevent search engines from indexing draft or private pages.
Customize browser behaviors like caching or redirects.
Gain better control over SEO without writing code.
Note: Missing key meta tags—like a description or Open Graph data—can hurt your search ranking and social media previews.
You can add custom meta tags to any funnel or website page from the SEO Meta Data area of the builder.
Navigate to Sites > Funnels or Sites > Websites.
Select the funnel or website you want to edit.
Click into the specific page or step.
Open the SEO Meta Data tab.
Scroll down to the Links and Tags dropdown.
Click + Add next to Custom Meta Tags.
Enter the tag name and content.
Click Add.
Click Update SEO Meta to save your changes.
Note: To keep a page out of search results, add a custom meta tag named
robotswith the content set tonoindex. Search engines will skip indexing that page entirely.
Schema markup (also called structured data) is code you add to a page so search engines and AI systems can interpret key details—your business type, services, products, FAQs, articles, events, and more. Aesthetix CRM includes a built-in Schema Markup Generator that lets you create, validate, and publish schema for individual pages, with no coding required.
Rich results: Structured data can qualify your pages for enhanced search listings, such as star ratings, FAQs that expand in search, and event dates.
Form View (no-code): Guided fields let you complete schema details without technical knowledge.
JSON View (advanced): Paste or write JSON-LD directly when you need full control.
Built-in validation: Issues are flagged when you save, so you can fix them before publishing.
Multiple schemas per page: Add more than one schema type to the same page—for example, LocalBusiness plus FAQPage.
Schema is page-specific, so you'll repeat these steps for each page or funnel step where you want structured data. Start by opening the exact page you want to optimize, then add schema that matches the content visitors can actually see.
Go to Sites.
Click Funnels or Websites, depending on where you want to add schema.
Create a new funnel/website, or edit an existing one.
Click Edit on the specific website page or funnel step you want to update.
In the left panel, open SEO & AI search optimization.
Click Schema Markup.
Click the + New Schema button and select Add Schema.
In the pop-up, click + Add Schema.
Select a schema type from the dropdown (for example: LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Product, or Article/BlogPosting).
Add your schema details using one of the following:
Form View: Fill out the guided fields.
JSON View: Paste or write your JSON-LD.
Enter the information required for your chosen schema type.
Click Validate & Save.
If validation fails, fix the highlighted fields or JSON formatting issues.
Save & Publish the website page or funnel step to make the schema live.
Note: Schema is page-specific and does not carry over to other pages or funnel steps. It appears in the editor and preview after saving, but only goes live once the page is published.
Choosing the right editing view helps you work faster and avoid errors.
Form View — best for no-code setup. Guided fields walk you through required and recommended properties and help you avoid formatting mistakes. Ideal for most users.
JSON View — best for advanced users and developers. Lets you edit or paste JSON-LD directly, which is useful for pasting schema from another source or adding specialized properties not shown in Form View.
The Schema Markup Generator supports a wide range of types so you can match structured data to each page's goal. Common supported types include:
Organization

Article / BlogPosting
FAQPage
QAPage

VideoObject
Person

Note: This includes child types under each category—for example, LocalBusiness subtypes such as "MedicalBusiness."
Local Business: Essential for any practice with a physical location. Includes name, address, phone, hours, and service area.
Service: For the treatments you offer. Displays service descriptions, pricing, and service areas.
Product: For retail items you sell, such as skincare. Shows prices, availability, ratings, and images directly in search results.

FAQ: Questions and answers that expand directly in search, capturing more screen space.
Event: Open houses, injectable clinics, or any scheduled occurrence. Shows dates and registration links.
Accuracy is critical: Only mark up information that's visible on the page. Never add fake reviews or hidden content.
Keep it current: Update schema when your hours, prices, or contact information change.
Use specific types: Choose the most specific type available—the more precise, the better search engines understand your page.
Combine multiple schemas: Your homepage can include both Organization and Local Business schema for comprehensive coverage.
Add schema to all key pages: Your homepage, contact page, service pages, and blog posts all benefit from appropriate schema markup.
