Every funnel in Aesthetix CRM is built from a sequence of steps, and each step represents a single page your visitor moves through. On the Steps tab you control which pages exist, the order visitors experience them, and how the URLs behind each page work. This guide walks you through managing steps and understanding the paths that connect them, so your consultation requests, promotions, and booking flows guide patients exactly where you want them to go.
The Steps tab is where you build and organize the pages inside a funnel. From here you can add new steps, rename them, reorder them, and open any step to edit its page. Because visitors always begin at the first step and move forward, the order of your steps is the path most patients will follow.
To grow your funnel, add a step for each new page you need, for example an offer page, an intake form, and a thank-you or confirmation page.
Open your funnel and select the Steps tab.
Click Add New Step (or the add button in the steps list).
Give the step a clear, descriptive name, such as "Consultation Offer" or "Booking Confirmation."
Save the step, then open it to design or edit its page.
Note: Give each step a name that describes its purpose. Clear names make longer funnels easier to manage and keep your team aligned when several people work on the same funnel.
The sequence of steps determines the default journey through your funnel. Reorder steps whenever you want to change what a patient sees first, next, and last.
In the steps list, drag a step up or down to move it to a new position.
Confirm that the first step is the page you want every visitor to land on, since the funnel URL always loads the first step.
There are three levels of URL associated with any funnel. Knowing how each one behaves helps you share the right link and route traffic correctly.
This is the URL dedicated to the entire funnel, configured from the funnel's Settings. The funnel URL always loads the first step in the funnel. Share this link when you want visitors to start at the very beginning of the journey, no matter how many steps you add later.
Each step has its own URL that loads that specific page. Configure a step's URL from its Publishing tab. Use a step URL when you want to send patients directly to a particular page, such as linking an ad or email straight to an offer page partway through the funnel.
Each step currently contains a single page, and the page URL points to that page. You can open a page's settings from the gear icon beside the Edit Page button, which opens the settings panel for that page.
Because visitors move forward through your ordered steps by default, the path a patient takes is shaped by two things: the order of your steps and the links or buttons you place on each page. To send someone from one step to the next, point the buttons or form actions on a page to the following step. This lets you create conditional routing, for example sending patients who complete a booking form to a confirmation step while directing everyone else to a follow-up offer.
Set each page's primary action (button or form submission) to advance to the appropriate next step.
Use step URLs to branch traffic, linking specific campaigns or audiences directly to the step that fits them.
Reorder steps whenever your journey changes, so the default forward path always reflects the experience you want.
Note: Plan your funnel path before you build. Sketching the order of steps, and where each button should lead, makes it much faster to assemble a funnel that guides patients smoothly from first click to booked appointment.
