In Aesthetix CRM, a website is a multi-page site built with the same drag-and-drop page builder you use for funnels. While a funnel is a focused, linear path designed to guide a visitor toward a single action (such as opting in or booking an appointment), a website is a broader, multi-page presence—home, about, services, contact, and more—that visitors can browse in any order. Because both are built in the same editor, anything you can design in the Page Builder you can use across your website pages.
This guide walks through the Websites area: how to find it, how to read and manage your website list, and how to work with the individual pages inside a website—adding them, naming them, setting paths, cloning, and more.
Step 1: Open Marketing. From the main navigation, go to the Marketing section.
Step 2: Open Funnels. Select the Funnels option from the menu.
Step 3: Open Websites. Choose the Websites option from the menu.
Step 4: View your websites. The Website List displays all of the websites you have already created. If you are just getting started, this area will appear blank until you build your first site.
Step 5: Search websites by name. Use the search field to quickly locate any specific website from the full list of sites you have created within Aesthetix CRM.
Each website in the list is represented by a card that summarizes the site and gives you quick access to management options.
Step 6: Review the website card. The website card displays the website name, its status (live or draft), the date of the last edit, and various options to modify the site.
Step 7: Website name. The website name is shown on the card. This name lives in the site's settings and can be edited from there.
Step 8: Current status. The status indicator tells you whether the website is live or still in draft mode.
Step 9: Last updated. This shows the date of the website's most recent edit.
Step 10: Total website pages. This count lets you estimate how many pages a particular website contains.
Step 11: Open the Action menu. Click the Action menu on a website card to reveal the management options below.
Step 12: Edit. Editing opens the website in the page builder, where you can add or remove content on specific pages.
Step 13: Clone. Cloning is useful when you want to reuse most of the content from an existing website. It copies the entire website so you can reproduce and adapt the content to your requirements.
Step 14: Move to folder. Use this option to move a website from its current location into a designated folder where you would like it stored.
Step 15: Delete. Deleting removes an entire website. When you click Delete, the system prompts you to type "DELETE" into the provided field to confirm. Keep in mind that once a website is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Step 16: Create a folder. Folders let you organize your websites and keep your workspace tidy.
Step 17: Create a new website. Click New Website to start a new site. You will be prompted to provide a name for your website before it is created.
A website is made up of individual pages. Once you open a website, the page management area is where you add, name, reorder, edit, and remove the pages that make up your site.
Step 18: Open your website. From the Websites list, select the website you want to work in.
Step 19: Use the website header. The website header holds the available options for the site, each serving a unique purpose.
Step 20: View your website pages. The pages area is where you can see all of the pages you have created for your website. From here you can add new pages, modify existing ones, and delete specific pages from your site. This is also where you order your pages and set which page acts as the home page.
Step 21: Add a new page. To build out your website, create each individual page for it. Select Add New Page to add another page to your current website or to start an entirely new page from scratch.
Step 22: Name your website page. Assigning a name to a page improves how your content is organized across the site. By dividing your website into distinct sections and naming each corresponding page—such as "Contact Us" or "About Us"—visitors can easily navigate to the content most relevant to them. You can always change a page's name later.
Step 23: Set the path. You can include a path for each page in your website, which determines the URL segment used to reach that page.
Step 24: Import content (optional). If you have pre-built content hosted elsewhere, you can paste its URL to bring that content in when creating a page.
Step 25: Open Website Page Actions. Each page has its own actions menu that gives you the options below.
Step 26: Settings. Opening the Settings tab lets you edit the name and path of a specific page on your website.
Step 27: Clone. Cloning lets you duplicate a page. Choose the option that fits your needs.
Step 28: Clone the website page. Use this to clone a page within the same website.
Step 29: Select the clone location. Select the location within Aesthetix CRM where you would like the cloned page to be used.
Step 30: Select the website. From the list of websites, select the site or sites where you would like to use the cloned page. You can choose a minimum of one website and a maximum of 25 websites to clone the selected page into.
Step 31: Delete a page. Use the Delete option to remove a page from your website.
When should I build a website instead of a funnel? Build a website when you want a full, multi-page online presence that visitors can browse freely—for example, a home page, service pages, an about page, and a contact page. Build a funnel when you want to guide a visitor down a focused, step-by-step path toward a single goal, such as opting in, registering, or booking.
Are websites and funnels built with the same tools? Yes. Both websites and funnels are built with the same Aesthetix CRM page builder, so the design elements, sections, and settings you already know carry over between them.
Can I recover a website after deleting it? No. Once a website is deleted it cannot be recovered, which is why the system requires you to type "DELETE" to confirm. Consider cloning a site before deleting if you might need the content later.
How do I rename a website? The website name lives in the site's settings and can be edited from there. You can also rename individual pages at any time from each page's Settings.
How many websites can I clone a page into at once? When cloning a website page, you can select a minimum of one website and a maximum of 25 websites to clone the page into.
Where do I set my home page and page order? Open the website and use the website pages area, where you can add, reorder, and organize your pages, including choosing which page serves as the home page.
Can I reuse an existing website's design? Yes. Use the Clone option on a website card to copy an entire site, then edit the copy to fit your needs. To learn more about designing and editing pages, see the Page Builder guide.
