Accessing Version History
The steps are the same whether you're working in a template or a campaign:
Go to Email Marketing and open the template or campaign you want to restore.
Inside the builder, click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top right corner.
Select See Version History from the dropdown.
A list of previously saved versions will appear. Click any version to preview how it looked at that point in time.
When you've found the version you want, select it and click Restore Version.
Templates vs. Campaigns
Email Templates are reusable layouts. Restoring a version here affects the base template, which may impact any future campaigns built from it.
Email Campaigns are individual sends. Restoring a version on a campaign only affects that specific campaign and does not change the underlying template.
If you're unsure which to restore, check whether the change you want to undo was made to the template itself or to a specific campaign built on top of it.
Important Notes
Versions are saved each time you click Save Template (in the template builder) or Save (in the campaign builder). Make it a habit to save before making significant changes so you have a clean restore point to fall back to.
Restoring a version on a campaign that has already been sent does not unsend or modify any emails already delivered to contacts.
