Trigger: Lead Created
What it does
The "Lead Created" trigger starts a workflow when a new lead is referred by an affiliate — giving you instant automation opportunities.
You can apply it across all campaigns or filter to trigger for a specific campaign only.
How to Use It
2. Click on "Marketing" to get started.

3. Next, click on workflows to proceed.

4. Afterwards, click on "Create Workflow" to initiate.

5. Select "Start from Scratch" to begin your project.

6. Following that, click here to add a new trigger.

7. Use the search field to find your desired trigger easily.

8. Following that, click on "Lead Created" to continue.

9. Click to add a filter for better results.

10. Optionally, select a filter to narrow it down.

11. Then, click on "Save Trigger" to finalize your changes.

12. Click here to add actions for your workflow.

13. Add actions like sending emails or notifying teams.

What it does
The "Add Leads under an Affiliate" action assigns a contact (lead) to an affiliate and their associated campaign, making sure affiliates are correctly credited.
You can now choose from three assignment methods for total flexibility.
How to Use It
2. First up, click on marketing.

3. Now, click on workflows.

4. Click on "Create Workflow."

5. Next, select "Start from Scratch."

6. Now, click here to add actions.

7. Click on "Add Leads under an Affiliate."

8. Choose actions mapping.

9. Click manual to assign a lead to an affiliate.
Manually assign a lead to a known affiliate in a specific campaign.
Best for: Form submissions, internal routing, admin decisions.

10. Select a campaign and the affiliate.

11. Click "auto tract affiliate via attribution."
Automatically assign leads using am_id
passed in the URL parameters.
Supports first or last click attribution.

12. Choose Attribution Method: First or Last.

13. Click "custom mapping" for specific field assignments.
Use if am_id
is stored in a custom field or passed as a workflow value.
Best for: API pushes, third-party systems, hidden fields on forms.

14. Choose mapping source for lead assignment.

15. Finally, click on "Save Action."

16. Your action has been successfully added!
