How to Create a Patient in PatientNow Essentials From Aesthetix CRM

This guide explains how to push a contact from Aesthetix CRM to PatientNow Essentials to create a new patient record.

Required Fields

Before sending a contact to PatientNow Essentials, make sure the following fields are filled in:

• First Name

• Last Name

• Email

• Phone Number

✅ Optional but recommended:
You can also include:

• Date of Birth

• Gender

These additional fields will be pushed to PatientNow Essentials if provided.

Creating the Patient

Once your contact has the required details:

1. Open the contact record in Aesthetix CRM.

2. Scroll down to the Tags section.

3. Apply the tag:
   Type and select pnow-create.

That’s it! The contact will be created in PatientNow Essentials within 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Optional Automation

• This process can be set up to automatically create a patient for every new lead that enters the system.

• However, this is not the default setup because marketing campaigns can generate spam or unqualified leads — and you likely don’t want these added to your EMR system.

• If you'd like this automatic creation enabled, let your onboarding manager know.
