This guide explains how to create new patients in Nextech directly from Aesthetix CRM using the two-way sync functionality. Follow these steps to ensure a seamless transfer of contact information.
Step 1: Required Information for Nextech
To create a new patient in Nextech, the following fields are mandatory:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Phone Number
Date of Birth
General Practitioner
Referral Source
Ensure these details are complete before proceeding.
Step 2: Update Contact Information
Open the Contact:
In Aesthetix CRM, open the contact you want to sync in a new tab.
Edit Required Fields:
Locate the relevant fields in the first folder of the contact’s details:
First Name and Last Name
Email
Phone Number
General Practitioner (ensure this is a single-select field formatted to Nextech's specifications).
Contact Source (mapped as the referral source).
Date of Birth
Update all fields as necessary.
Step 3: Trigger the Sync
Add the Sync Tag:
Currently, syncing is triggered by adding a tag. Add the tag
NXT Create
to the contact.The tag will appear in the contact’s tag section.
Wait for Sync Completion:
The contact will typically sync to Nextech within 2–3 minutes.
Step 4: Future Updates
Upcoming Button Feature:
In the near future, a dedicated button will be added to streamline this process, eliminating the need for tags.
This button will likely be located in the contact view or near the tag area.
