# Sharing & Deleting Your WhatsApp Number

Learn how to share your connected WhatsApp number with patients using a click-to-chat link and how to permanently delete a number.

Once your WhatsApp number is connected, you can share it so patients can reach your practice with a single tap, or remove a number you no longer use. Both actions start from the same place in your account settings. This guide walks through sharing a WhatsApp number and deleting one when it is time to retire it.

## Sharing Your WhatsApp Number

Sharing generates a click-to-chat link you can send to patients or add to your marketing so they can message your practice directly on WhatsApp.

### 1\. Open Settings

In your account, click on **Settings**.

### 2\. Select WhatsApp

Click on **WhatsApp**.

### 3\. Open the Number Menu

Click the **three dots** next to the WhatsApp number you want to share.

### 4\. Choose Share WhatsApp Number

Click on **Share WhatsApp number**.

### 5\. Copy and Share the Link

Click **copy** to grab the click-to-chat link, then share it with patients however you like.

> **Note:** The shareable link opens a WhatsApp conversation with your practice. You can drop it into emails, text messages, your website, or a QR code so patients reach you with a single tap.

## Deleting a WhatsApp Number

If you no longer use a WhatsApp number, you can remove it from your account. For security, deletion requires your password and cannot be undone.

### 1\. Open Settings

In your account, click on **Settings**.

Click on **WhatsApp**.

### 3\. Open the Number Menu

Click the **three dots** next to the WhatsApp number you want to delete.

### 4\. Choose Delete Number

Click **Delete number**.

### 5\. Confirm the Deletion

After tapping **Delete**, you are redirected to the confirmation page. Tap **Delete** again to confirm.

### 6\. Enter Your Password

Enter your password, then tap **Delete** to proceed.

### 7\. Confirm the Action

Enter your password once more, then tap **Delete** to confirm the action.

> **Note:** Deleting a number is permanent. If you plan to re-register it later, back up your chats first so you do not lose any important messages.
